Mongolia is open for travel, with no COVID tests required by either Mongolia or the U.S!
Mongolia in 2023
A trip to Mongolia should be the journey of a lifetime — meaningful, fun, safe, and responsible. All of Blue Silk Travel's 2022 & 2023 Mongolia tours feature our Come Together program. Come Together provides an enhanced health and cleanliness experience, along with the cultural immersion and engagement for which Blue Silk Travel is famous.

Communication
We are your partners in helping you travel safely. Beginning during the trip planning process and continuing throughout your entire trip, we will provide you with relevant, up-to-date information to help you stay safe and healthy.
Prevention
We have reviewed every component of our tours to enhance cleanliness and prevent the spread of disease, and will continue to update our policies in line with official regulations and recommendations. Some highlights:
- Groups limited to sixteen travelers or fewer
- Preventive care kit of essential supplies provided to each traveler
- Vehicles sanitized daily
- Tour receivers and earpieces used to allow travelers to avoid crowds while listening to tour leaders
- Restaurants and accommodations chosen based on their commitment to health and cleanliness standards
Flexibility
We also want you to book worry-free. We have lowered our deposits, and if, at the time of your tour, Mongolia reimposes quarantines or border controls on vaccinated, COVID-negative travelers, we will work with you to reschedule or cancel your journey, penalty free.
Vaccinations
Blue Silk Travel asks all travelers to be fully vaccinated against coronavirus before arrival in Mongolia.
Entering Mongolia
Testing
As of March 14, 2022, travelers no longer need to submit COVID-19 test results to enter Mongolia.
Entry requirements may change. Travelers are responsible, at their own expense, for fulfilling all vaccination and testing requirements in place at the time of travel. No refunds will be issued due to a traveler's failure to meet these requirements.
Returning Home
Although the U.S. and Mongolia do not require COVID testing from travelers, the countries through which you transit may require testing and/or proof of vaccination.
U.S.A
As of June 12, 2022, the U.S. no longer requires pre-entry COVID testing. Travelers who are not U.S. citizens or residents must still present proof of vaccination to enter the U.S.
Canada
As of April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to complete testing before traveling to Canada. Travelers entering Canada are still required to download and answer questions on the ArriveCAN app.
